Nichole Nugent’s love for fishing began at a young age on her grandmother’s dock in Fort. Lauderdale. It all started with her first catch, a Checkered Puffer Fish and progressed to larger fish like; Jack Crevalle, Sail Fish, Barracuda, Snook, Tarpon, Large Mouth Bass, Peacock Bass, and many more. Nichole moved to Loxahatchee Florida in 2004 and her love for fishing grew even stronger when she discovered an amazing, beautiful, Wild and Scenic River located in Jupiter Florida. Nichole loves to kayak fish down the Loxahatchee River starting at River Bend Park all the way to Johnathon Dickerson State Park. Nichole is currently working on her Associates in Science Degree in Environmental Science at Palm Beach State College. In the future she wants to combine her love for fishing and the Loxahatchee River and put it into a career as an Environmental Educator at the River Center or a Scientist at Wild Pine Lab being a River Keeper. She is very excited to share her fishing adventures on the Loxahatchee River.
