Girl Scouts: Water Legacy Badge

Ambassadors will try their hand at kayaking, discover our local water resources and tackle important global and local issues about our water.

This program will focus on water resources, household water uses, wastewater treatment solutions, and balancing the water budget. Girls will try a water skill and visit water in its natural state by kayaking, seining and dip netting. As they look into local water concerns we will study global water wars, basic human water rights, laws and regulations. Girls will design their own water solutions and innovative water management ideas to become wise citizens and stand up for what
matters to them.
