DESCRIPTION:February 7th – A Day in the Life of a Marine Biologist\n\nJoin our Scientist Sam for different science activities!\nAges 13-17\n\n\nSaturday, February 7th, 2026 @ 10am – 12:pm\nLocation: Blowing Rocks Beach\nGuest: Dave Porter, WildPine Lab Scientist\n\nJoin us for a day on the water! We will be walking in the shoes of a marine scientist – taking wildlife biodiversity surveys, snorkeling for marine plants, and learning about the job of a marine scientist!\nWe will be meeting off-site at Blowing Rocks Beach. Please bring a waterbottle, sunscreen, and a snorkel mask. Closed-toed watershoes are required to participate!\nEach student will earn 2 hours of volunteer service for attending!\n\n\nThere is no cost for this program but please RSVP to attend.
