Science with Sam – Rocks Rock

On select Saturdays from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm, join our Scientist Sam for different science and nature based activities for students aged 6 -12 . Activities will include wildlife encounters, garden exploration, science experiments, and more!
Each month has different themed classes!
In this lesson students learn all about the various rocks on earth, what they are, how they form, and what we can learn from them. They will learn the rock cycle, where specific rocks can be found, and what changes and shapes rocks over time. Students will conduct rock experiments to identify different types of rocks.
