volunteers helping children in the water

Volunteer

Ever dreamed of being a marine biologist? An environmental educator? Making a difference? Here’s your chance! There are a number of volunteer activities available through facilities like the Loxahatchee River Environmental Center ‘River Center’ and the WildPine Lab. Assist with summer camp programs, visitor services, education programs, special events, field studies and even collect water quality data.

Send us information about your specific interests and how we can contact you. In turn, we will send you more information on fun and important volunteer programs to help the Loxahatchee River.

We are currently accepting new volunteers into our program, and we would love to have you join the River Center team! If you are interested, your first step will be to fill out a volunteer application and attend our next intro to volunteering meeting. Please RSVP using the link below.

Please note that all River Center volunteers must be at least 14 years or older, entering 9th grade, and that all adult volunteers, 18 or older, must complete a level II background check.

Click the “apply to be a volunteer” button below to fill out your application. The submit application button does not work if you are using Google Chrome.
