Ages 13-17

Location: Cypress Creek Natural Area
Guest: Harper Carroll – Fire Manager, PBC Environmental Resources Management
Join the River Center and Palm Beach County ERM for a thrilling class on prescribed fire. We will be meeting at Cypress Creek Natural Area to compare sites from unburned to recently burned, learning from expert Harper Carroll on how fire is managed, and conducting post-fire surveys in the field. Closed-toe shoes and a water bottle are required to participate!
Each student will earn 2 hours of volunteer service for attending!
