Science with Sam Family Fun – Nature Scavenger Hunt
JUNE 3RD – NATURE SCAVENGER HUNT
On select Saturdays from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm, join our Scientist Sam for different science activities for the whole family!
Activities will include outdoor exploration, guided experiments and hands-on opportunities with wildlife.
In this lesson students and families will take a guided walk through the Natural Area trails using their Nature Baggies to help them discover wildlife along the way. Students will use River Center binoculars while exploring, and take place in a group nature craft at the end of class. All equipment is provided; Closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, and water bottle are required, hat and sunglasses are recommended.
There is no cost for this program but please RSVP to attend. Space is limited
