Science with Sam – Nature Scavenger Hunt

Location: Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area
On select Saturdays from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm, join our Scientist Sam for different science and nature based activities for students aged 6 -12 . Activities will include wildlife encounters, garden exploration, science experiments, and more!
Each month has different themed classes!
In this lesson students will take a guided hike through the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area on a nature scavenger hunt! Students will be using their senses, hearing, seeing, smelling, and feeling, to discover the world of wildlife around us. Each student will be given binoculars and a scavenger hunt checklist of wildlife discovered. Students will learn the skills needed to find wildlife and enjoy a leisurely hike learning about South Florida wildlife.
