Suddenly in Command Boating Course

Join us at the River Center for our first ever “Suddenly in Command” boating course provided by Flotilla 52 of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary.

The Captain of a vessel becomes incapacitated or falls overboard. You are now “suddenly in command” What would you do in this situation?

This 4 hour boating course is designed for those not generally at the helm and will help you to be prepared in the event of an emergency on the water.

Participants will learn about your vessel and operating principles. Also included in this course are descriptions of boating mishaps and how to minimize and prevent them from occurring.

Misfortune occurs in seconds, this course is to help you be prepared for it.

This course is on Saturday, Dec. 3rd from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and is $35 per participant.
