After School Book Club
📖🌱Calling all nature-loving readers!
Join us on Wednesday, November 13th from 4:30 to 6pm for our next afterschool book club for kids in grades 3-8. This month’s book will be HOOT by Carl Hiaasen. This award-winning mystery novel takes place in Florida and follows two oddball friends as they try to stop construction that will destroy a burrowing owl habitat.
You can find HOOT at our local library or at a bookseller of your choice. Readers should finish the book before the meeting. We will discuss the story, dissect owl pellets, and visit with Troy the Owl!
If this program is full, please give us a call. We have a waitlist and can often fit in additional young readers!
